Sprint announced two notebooks with built-in support for both 3G and 4G. The custom versions of the Dell Mini 10 and the Dell Inspiron 11z can acces either regular EVDO or WiMAX to have speeds up to 6 Mb/s with a fallback when 4G isn’t available.
Both notebooks are enhanced version of their regular versions. Mini 10 netbook is powered by a Intel Atom N450, 1 GB of RAM and a 250 GB HDD. For the 1080p video playback it has a Broadcom Crystal HD, but that’s not a fully functional feature; it is well known that on low speced netbooks or tablets, sometimes is stucking even with 720p content (when we’re talking about MPEG-4 AVC files, using high complexity encoding settings).
The Inspiron 11z is way more powerful than the Dell Mini 10, because it features a better CPU, the Intel Core i3 ULV. Consuming less power than standard-voltage Core i3, i5, and i7 processors (the TDPs of 17 watts are 50% lower than the regular counterparts), the ULV versions of these processor are also slightly less powerful.
Core i3 ULV really helps attaining a higher battery life, but also provides enough juice to be an interesting choice. This Core i3 ULV configuration is not available at Dell (their configs have Pentium and Celeron CPUs). There are not too many details available about the full configuration, but it is likely to have at least 2GB of DDR3 memory.

 Dell Inspiron Mini 10
Dell Mini 10 will be available soon, on Halloween, for the business buyers. Sprint is planning to give the Mini 10 for free, with contracts and after a $100 rebate. Inspiron 11z will cost at least $150, with a similar contract and the rebate we mentioned already.
